About Tangail Saree:

Tangail sarees are handwoven on cotton and silk, featuring intricate hand-worked butis (small motifs) and floral or contemporary designs. The main characteristic of the Tangail saree is the extra weft buti, where tiny motifs are meticulously woven all over the fabric using a Jacquard loom. These sarees are light, making them perfect for daily wear, and are highly popular for their unique design and ease of maintenance.

Produced by skilled artisans from the Nadia and Bardhaman districts of Bengal, these sarees showcase the intricate craftsmanship of over 1,000 weavers and 2,000 ancillary artisans.
