The Śrīvidyā Sādhanā has twelve lineages available amongst them two Kādividyā Krama and Hādividyā Krama are prominent. Amongst these two also the Kādividyā Krama prevails today. The present scripture is an Authority of Kādividyā Krama. This not only talks about the Sādhanā part of Śrī Lalitā Tripurasundarī however this also tells the beautiful stories of her origin, her mighty war with Bhaṇḍāsura along with origin of Bhaṇḍāsura, her incarnation as Śrī Kāñcīya Kāmākṣī who is also revered as Śrī Ādilakṣmī and Śrī Kāñcī Māhātmya. The scripture also talks about the Dīkṣā of Kādividyā Mantra and then Śrī Ādilakṣmī Mantra along with their Puraścaraṇa and Sādhanā procedures. The scripture discusses in detail about Traipura Siddhānta and Samayācāra of Śrī Lalitā sādhakas. This scripture has a unique Darśana of Śrī Lalitā which is not found elsewhere and hence is not discussed enough.
