Smaranjit Chakraborty (স্মরণজিৎ চক্রবর্তী) was born on June 19, 1976, in Kolkata, and currently resides in South Kolkata. He is involved in his family business by profession. His literary journey began with short stories, with his first appearing in the Unish Kuri magazine. His first serialized story was published in Desh magazine. He is passionate about poetry, football, and cinema. Ushnish is one of his most notable works, weaving history with gripping adventure.
