About the Author:
দীপঙ্কর ঘোষ has been actively involved in researching and preserving West Bengal's socio-cultural heritage. With an M.Sc. in Anthropology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication, he has extensive experience as the curator of Howrah District Museum, "Ananda Niketan Kirtishala." Currently, he is the co-editor of publications for the West Bengal Government’s "Folk and Tribal Cultural Centre." His dedication to folk culture has earned him awards like the Sahajia Samman (2008) and the Terracotta Samman (2011).
